Sousuke Sagara is an elite soldier who belongs to an independent special force named "Mithril". Mithril is a self appointed military force that fights terrorism across the globe. With technology that is far superior to that of normal nations, Mithril intercedes on behalf of justice. Sousuke, a Second Lieutenant under Mithril's command, is assigned to the duty of protecting a girl named Kaname Chidori, who attends high school in Japan. To accomplish this task, he pretends to be a transfer student attending at Kaname's school. As Sousuke settles into his new role as classmate, a massive plot unfolds beginning with the kidnapping of Kaname.

untitled.jpgKaname is a very agressive girl with a power called "The Whispered". She doesn't know it, but she can operate any mecha with this power. That is why people want to kidnap her, so they can gain her power to control any tough mecha. At first, Kaname did not know why Sousuke was following her, so she classified him as a pervert. Then when she knew why he followed her, she fell in love... although she wouldn't admit it. She often has a rivalry with Sousuke's captain, Teletha Tesstarosa for his affections.





sousukesagaraprofile.jpgSousuke is a Sergeant of Mitril sent out to protect Kaname from being kidnapped. He is very serious about his duty but the only problem is he has to keep it secret from Kaname in the beginning. Sousuke will often cause havoc because he is so serious about his duty. When he sees a practical joke between Kaname and her friends he will run at her friends with a gun just to protect her. He once even thought a sculpture she had for art class was a terrorist attacking her in the hall!
